Primary Source Resource #1: Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is a wonderful resource for those looking to find primary source documents. Use the search bar at the top of the website to use search for some of the keywords you have generated (page 2). Be sure to remember what a primary source is and recognize that not all results will be a primary source.

DocsTeach by the National Archives is a wonderful resource for those looking to find primary source documents. Use the search bar to search for some of the keywords you have generated (page 2). All materials provided through this resource are primary sources.

Online Database #1: ABC-CLIO

ABC-CLIO has two AWESOME databases that help provide in-depth analyses of many aspect related to the Progressive Era. 

American History

Click the arrow buttons on the screen to navigate the different time periods until you get to "The Gilded Age to World War I, 1870-1920." You will want to click on the subtopic, "The Progressive Era: 1890-1920." In addition to the article that appears, you will want to read the information on the right side of the article.

Daily Life through History

Again, use the arrow buttons on the screen to navigate the different time periods until you get to "The Industrial Revolution and the Rise of Nationalism 1800-1914." You will want to click on the subtopic "Industrial America." Again, you will want to look at the information on the right side of the article, as it provides insight into what life was like for several different groups of people.
