You want it? We got it!
CMS Library has several resources available to the school community. Not only do we offer the books and magazines you see in the library, but we also provide several online resources and information to assist with the research process. Check out this website or see Miss Regitano in the library if you have any questions or need help!
Fall Featured Teacher Resource:
One of the databases available to teachers through our School Library System is TeachingBooks.net. This resource is a library of over 150,000 instructional materials to help educators teach children's and young adult literature. Instructional materials include such things as lesson plans related to texts, book trailers, interviews with authors and illustrators, audio of the authors reading part of the texts, audio of authors pronouncing their names, and vocabulary lists related to novels. This database also allows users to browse books by collections based on such things as grade level, curricular area, genre, and cultural area. Educators also can make reading lists of different books.
For the username and password, please refer to the library's fall staff newsletter or contact Jessica Regitano.
Fall Featured Teacher Reading:
SLS Professional eBook Collection
This no-cost collection, curated by our School Library System, contains hundreds of ebooks to support your professional development. These books cover a wide range of topics. Of particular note is that it includes nearly the entire Dave Burgess Consulting collection.
For the password, please refer to the library's fall staff newsletter or contact Jessica Regitano.
